Biometric Retina ScanRetinal scanning systems look at the pattern of blood vessels at the back of the eye. Retina scans use a light to shine on the retina, and require that the person place their eye close to the scanner, remain still, and focus on a specified location. Biometric retina recognition systems are among the most accurate of all biometric technologies and as such are used at military installations and other high-risk facilities. It is also quite expensive due to the hardware needed. To prevent fooling the system: No precautions needed. You can't make a "fake" retina and a retina from a cadaver would deteriorate too fast. |
