Biometric Fingerprint Safes

You can probably buy these at Staples or Home Depot soon, or even today. Fingerprint safes for homes and businesses are the next big thing in improving security. Biometric safes feature a fingerprint sensor that identifies and verifies the fingerprint of any persons stored in the unit for quick and secure access.

The most popular biometric safes are used for storing firearms. Fingerprint-accessed gun safes are usually pretty small and are designed to store a single firearm; they can easily be transported between the home and car as needed. Larger safes are used to replace the traditional wall or floor-mounted safe in the home or business used to store important documents and small valuables.

Biometric safes require no external wiring and operate off of replaceable batteries, which are needed to retain fingerprint information. Depending on the model, some biometric safes can store fingerprint data for over 100 different people.
